Fan Rep. is operated by Luke Ciano, an individual, not a registered company. This policy explains what information Fan Rep. collects, how it's used, and how you can have it removed.
When you create an account, you can sign in with Google or register directly with an email address and password, through Auth0, our authentication provider. Depending on which method you choose, we receive your name and email address, and, for Google sign-in, your profile picture. When you declare a favorite team, we collect your responses to a short survey (why you're a fan, your favorite player, your biggest rival) and your email notification preference. We also record which votes you cast.
This information is used to operate Fan Rep.'s core features: letting you vote, showing you results, and, if you opt in, emailing you when a new vote goes live for a team or league you follow. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it to anyone.
Your account and survey data are stored with Supabase, our database provider. Authentication is handled by Auth0. Email notifications are sent through Resend. These are third-party services that process data on our behalf — none of them are permitted to use your data for their own purposes, and none of them are advertisers.
Fan Rep. uses a session cookie, managed by Auth0, to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
To request deletion of your account and all associated data, email lukeciano.fanrep@gmail.com. We'll remove your information within a reasonable time.
Fan Rep. is intended for users 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
We may update this policy as Fan Rep. grows. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date above.
